Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26th, 1991) often referred to by her professionally-known moniker Ari Lennox is an American musician and singer of Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be signed to J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. The debut EP Pho, released in October 21st, 2016, was released by Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in fame. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. It was released in May of 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her music on the internet in 2012 when she launched her first mixtape, Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. The year 2014 saw her continue to upload her music via the internet including her independently launched single Bound. The 21st of July, 2015 was the day she appeared on Omen's album Elephant Eyes featuring the track Sweat it Out. J. Cole asked her to collaborate with him for Rihanna's remark.
